Overview

This workshop focuses on empowering non-clinical care partners with the essential skills and knowledge required to effectively support older Australians under the new Aged Care Act and strengthened Aged Care Standards. With the introduction of the Support at Home Program, non-clinical staff play an increasingly important role in ensuring high-quality, person-centered care.

Attendees will gain practical insights into assisting with health-related tasks, identifying changes in consumer conditions, and working collaboratively with clinical professionals.  The workshop will equip non-clinical care partners with the confidence to contribute meaningfully to consumer well-being and navigate the evolving aged care landscape with competence and clarity.
