This course has been designed for staff who are working in home care to be prepared and informed about their responsibilities when auditing against ACQS standards.
Providers want to be sure that staff in quality or management roles understand how to monitor standards compliance; reinforce continuous quality improvements and prepare for Quality Reviews in Home Care. Quality Auditing will give managers confidence in supporting staff.
You will learn how to audit your own services and be prepared for any audit of quality standards. This four-module course has been aligned with units of competency of Quality Auditing Skills – and consists of theory and practical application of learning in the workplace. Modules include understanding Quality Reviews in Home Care; audit methodology; triangulation of evidence and how to implement an internal audit program.
The course is suitable for those who are involved in care provision, auditing, quality roles and clinicians. Emphasis will be placed on the importance of clinical care monitoring and provision in home care.
