Introduction to Home Care
February 7 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Overview
For board members, managers, key personnel, and others new to home care, the home care environment can be daunting and overwhelming as there are many different dimensions to understand and lead. The legislative requirements are extensive and currently subject to a range of new measures to strengthen provider governance. Failure to meet legislative requirements or to ensure strong and effective organisational governance places home care providers at risk of non-compliance, a situation no provider wants to experience.
At LPA, we are known for our insight into home care provider’s responsibilities and the measures that can be applied to operate a compliant and effective service. This course has been updated for 2024 to reflect contemporary requirements and responsive practice. In these two sessions, you will rapidly fast-track your knowledge of the essentials of home care. This course will bring you up to speed with the latest reforms and their implications, contemporary practice, practice, and optimal management of home care. This course will include a range of practical examples and guidance that will equip you with the skills to effectively lead your service.
