New guidance tool for CHSP providers
The department of health and aged care continues to release support documents for the sector, with the latest designed to support providers in the lead up to the new regulatory model.

The department of health and aged care has released a new guidance tool for Commonwealth Home Support Program providers preparing for the new regulatory model.
It outlines the regulatory changes affecting CHSP providers under the new Aged Care Act and includes information on:
- provider obligations and support
- how the new aged care regulatory model will work
- regulation and oversight under the new Aged Care Act
- responses to providers’ questions from the November webinar on how the new model will work
- the new programs to be regulated and the associated changes
- CHSP reforms.
