More Victorians able to age at home with new service
National club organisation Mounties Group has launched a new branch of its health division Mounties Care Home Care in Victoria – whose older population is growing exponentially.

With 1.5 million Victorians aged over 60 years old, more home support services are needed to allow older Victorians to age in place and Mounties Care Home Care has recently launched services in Victoria to help meet this growing demand.
Providing in-home support services from locals in the clients’ area, Mounties Care Home Care is the health division of Mounties Group, a national profit-for-purpose organisation.
Plans are personalised to meet a person’s needs and lifestyle and include practical and psychosocial support with the aim of assisting older Victorians or people with a disability to live independently at home.
In-home support also provides social connection, reduced disruption to daily routines and reduced risk of infections and services can be accessed from the comfort of one’s own home.

Mounties Care’s core mission is to deliver compassionate home care through innovation and understanding, said Mounties Group chief executive officer Dale Hunt.
“The later years of a persons’ life can be particularly challenging, though the benefits of ageing-in-place are well researched. Our members are our family at Mounties Group, and our goal is to work with Australians to create tailored care packages that not only enable a continued quality of life, but enhance it through support and wellbeing activities based on an individual – rather than blanket – approach to home care,” he said.
Mounties Care Home Care can be accessed through Home Care Packages, NDIS or through private funding.
