New name for Home Instead Australia
The national home care provider has announced a rebrand to Dovida and an end to its affiliation with the Home Instead brand.

Inspired by the Latin words for home and life – domus and vita – home care provider Home Instead Australia has announced a rebrand to Dovida, emphasising that the new name symbolises a refreshed vision but a continued commitment to person-centred care.
The number of Australians receiving in-home care is expected to almost double by 2042 and reach two million. Dovida is well-positioned to meet this growing demand, with 20 years of experience and a current client base of more than 13,000 people, said chief executive officer Geoff Hogg.

“Our mission has always been to enhance the lives of ageing adults and their families by providing personalised, relationship-based care at home,” said Mr Hogg.
“Today, that mission continues under a new name. Dovida builds on our legacy with a renewed commitment to excellence and compassion and the promise to continue providing the same exemplary care that our clients, their families, our network and caregivers have come to rely on.”
Dovida has also introduced a new philosophy called Circle of Care, which places the individual at the centre of a holistic support system that unites families, skilled caregivers and support teams, and the wider healthcare community.
“Our renewed mission is to support, empower, and uplift people by putting them at the heart of every decision we make,” Mr Hogg said.
“We believe that recognising each of our clients’ uniqueness is key to providing the highest quality of care. Our caregivers approach people with curiosity and compassion, eager to understand their care needs, interests, values, and personality. As a Dovida client, you will be empowered to live ‘Your Life, Your Way’.”
Dovida also has a presence in Ireland, France, the Netherlands, New Zealand and Switzerland.
