Waterfront venue offers fresh start to village food
Heirloom by Anglicare Sydney will be the first waterfront dining experience located in a senior living village in Sydney, with construction expected to be completed late this year.

Anglicare Sydney has officially broken ground on its waterfront dining experience at the Woolooware Shores seniors’ living village. Located at Woolooware Bay in Taren point, the mediterranean-inspired restaurant Heirloom is the first of-its-kind in the Sydney area.
Anglicare Sydney Chief executive officer Simon Miller, Woolooware Shores’ Village general manager Liza Fox, construction partner Meridian director Matt Hunter, project manager Willow Frank, executive director Lawrence Leong and federal member for Cook Simon Kennedy were all present for the sod-turning ceremony.
The concept is to encourage visitors to move naturally to the venue and connect with family and friends while enjoying fresh produce and uninterrupted water views.

It will have capacity to hold up to 100 people across indoor and outdoor settings.
Liza Fox said the venue will reflect Woolooware Shores’ lifestyle first approach to seniors living.
“As its name suggests, Heirloom isn’t just about great food – it’s about creating a place where people feel at home, where conversations flow easily, and where the beauty of Woolooware Bay enhances every dining experience. It will be a space for residents to connect, while also welcoming the wider community to enjoy this incredible location,” she said.
Construction of the site is expected to be completed in late 2025 and chef appointments and menu previews will be shared in the coming months.
