Variety WA welcomes prestigious patrons
The governor of Western Australia and his wife have been announced as new patrons of long-standing children’s charity Variety WA.

Western Australian children’s charity Variety WA has announced the Honourable Christopher Dawson, 34th Governor of Western Australia, and his wife Mrs Darrilyn Dawson as new patrons.
Chief executive officer Chris Chatterton said: “Being supported by patrons with the credentials, experience and connections of the Dawsons will help to forge beneficial partnerships for the charity and elevate the cause of children living with disability, chronic illness or experiencing disadvantage.”
“His Excellency, the Governor of Western Australia and his wife’s generous support adds immense significance to our cause, and this is particularly important timing for the charity with the WA Tent marking its 45th year in WA and Variety Australia celebrating 50 years of operation across the country in April.”
During its long history in the state, Variety WA has been supported by many eminent philanthropists and business leaders, along with public figures and the royal family.
