Provider codesigns smart home care solution

Anglicare SQ has teamed up with Umps Health to enhances home care client accessibility and experience.

Aged care provider Anglicare Southern Queensland and Australian aged care tech company Umps Health have teamed up to codesign a solution that enhances home care client accessibility and experience.

The solution – undergoing a second larger trial with 55 home care recipients – allows older people to communicate with Anglicare SQ about service scheduling by talking directly to the Umps smart home hub. Clients also receive reminders about their services via the hub.

Outcomes include a reduction in client call centre inquiries, improved response times to client enquiries and improved client satisfaction, Umps Health chief executive officer Adam Jahnke and Anglicare SQ CEO and executive director Sue Cooke told Community Care Review at the Aged & Community Care Providers conference in Adelaide last week.
