New home care offering arrives
Georges Estate Health & Aged Care Communities are taking to homes of people that wish to receive care with familiarity.
From 1 October 2024, trained staff from Georges Estate Health & Aged Care Communities will be visiting clients in their own homes to share their services including clinical care, wellness, cleaning and meal preparation.
For those older Australians that do not require around the clock clinical care and supervision, Georges Estate aims to ensure that Australia’s elderly are living well and being cared for in a way that suits them.
Executive Director of Georges Estate Sarah Riach, told Community Care Review, that initially the team are looking to service HCP and will look to expand into CHSP in due course.
With Penshurst as their hub, they are “excited to speak to anybody in the South/Southeast Sydney communities” that are looking for “exceptional” quality home care service from a reputable business.
“I interview and oversee all the staff in our aged care home, and these are the people that will head out into the community to meet the needs of those that wish to receive care in the comfort of their own homes,” said Ms Riach.
“We want to take Georges Estate’s reputation for excellence into the home care community to make sure that people living at home are not at risk of loneliness, depression or being overwhelmed with everyday tasks that they simply cannot keep up with as they age.”
With the added benefit of highly skilled Registered Nurses that can monitor clinical needs, the team at Georges Estate offers a range of Allied Health Professionals who can be part of a client’s home care package.
“We look forward to bringing this to the Sydney South / Southeast region community. When you meet our team, you will know we are coming from a reputable, professional and trusted place,” said Ms Riach.
“People are our passion and purpose. We believe client safety and wellbeing is number one and older Australians deserve to be living their best life, wherever they choose to.”
With three decades of experience working in aged care, Ms Riach has always been “passionate” about creating “happy clients that feel loved, well cared for and safe” in their homes.
“Personally, I feel lucky to meet, care and interact with all the wonderful older Australians in our community,” said Ms Riach.
“It is a privilege to be part of their lives. Giving the ‘Georges Estate’ ethos and style of care to our broader community of older Australians is our biggest goal.”
Adding, “Details are important. The feeling that Georges Estate has you ‘well cared for’ and that as a client your needs are of the upmost importance to us, delivering this is our ultimate goal. We are here to serve. Nothing is too much.”
