ADSSI CEO to retire

Jenni Allan has been with the not-for-profit community care provider for two decades.

Chief executive officer Jenni Allan is retiring from her role at in-home support provider ADSSI.

Ms Allan joined the not-for-profit community care provider in 2004 as finance manager and has held various roles at the organisation – including finance operations manager – before being appointed CEO in 2010.

During that period, ADSSI has navigated several mergers and successfully tendered millions of dollars in new services such as veterans’ home care and out-of-hospital care. As CEO, Ms Allan also led ADSSI through significant challenges – including the Covid-19 pandemic.

“On behalf of the ADSSI board, and the entire organisation, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to Jenni for her exceptional leadership and unwavering commitment,” chair Alison Tattersall said. “We wish her all the best in her retirement and look forward to building upon the strong foundation that she has established.”

Ms Allan said she was “filled with immense pride and appreciation” for the opportunities and experiences during her tenure “and am grateful to have witnessed and contributed to the growth and evolution of this exceptional organisation.”

The ADSSI board is actively recruiting for a new CEO that can lead the provider “into an even more prosperous future.”

In the meantime, Ms Allan will continue to lead the organisation until her retirement, which is expected to take effect on or following the annual general meeting on 26 November.
