Two new board members at ACH
The announcement follows the launch of the provider’s new strategy.
Aged care and retirement living provider ACH Group has appointed two new board members – Tracey Scott and Scott Long – who both join ACH as non-executive directors.
Ms Scott has more than two decades’ experience on boards and committees across the not-for-profit and government sectors including as deputy chair of SIDS and Kids NT and treasurer of Nightcliff Community Centre.
Ms Scott has also held long-standing executive and non-executive roles with the Department of Treasury and Finance in the Northern Territory and South Australia.
Mr Long has an extensive background in regulation, corporate governance and commercial law. He has held senior leadership roles in the private sector and been in-house general counsel across various industries including defence and higher education.
Mr Long was previously an advisory board member with the University of Adelaide Law School and served as chair of disability services provider Elizabeth Bowey Lodge Foundation.
“We are delighted to welcome Tracey and Scott to ACH Group,” said chair Imelda Lynch. “Their depth of expertise – particularly across financial management, regulation and compliance – consolidates and compliments our highly skilled and experienced board.”
The announcement of the two new board members follows the launch of ACH Group’s new strategy. “Our new strategy is underpinned by a significant investment in our services, our people and our assets to improve the wellbeing and positive health outcomes for everyone we work with,” said Ms Lynch. “These appointments further strengthen our governance – a key pillar in the strategy – and our unwavering commitment to supporting good lives for older people.”
