The best performing home care organisations are working with their clients to spend the whole package, delegates hear.
Care managers are crucial to the financial sustainability of home care organisations, a home care conference has heard.
Revenue for Home Care Package services is up but so are costs, StewartBrown managing partner Stuart Hutcheon told the National Home Care Conference 2024 on Thursday.
It means the operating result of home care organisations is continuing to be a challenge. But some services are doing better than others, he said.
“The best financially performing organisations are the ones who work closely with their consumers to utilise their package,” Mr Hutcheon told over 500 delegates watching in-person and online.
