ACH appoints Linda Feldt CEO
Ms Feldt will lead the SA provider through its next phase of growth.
South Australian aged care services provider ACH Group has appointed interim head Linda Feldt as its chief executive officer.
Ms Feldt – who joined the not-for-profit provider in 2015 – has been ACH’s interim CEO for the past five months, following the departure of her predecessor Frank Weits. She was previously the organisation’s chief operating officer.
Ms Feldt has executive experience in senior commercial, finance and customer roles across aged care and disability services in SA, as well as in multinational and international corporations.
Ms Feldt holds a Bachelor of Business, Accounting, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of South Australia. She is a certified public accountant and a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
ACH Group chair Imelda Lynch said the board has been “extremely impressed” by Ms Feldt’s performance and impact in the transitional role, and across her tenure with the organisation. “Linda’s strong leadership of our workforce, and connection with customers and other stakeholders, is exceptional,” said Ms Lynch.
Ms Feldt’s depth of experience is also significant, said Ms Lynch. “Since joining ACH Group nine years ago, Linda has led our business and operating model transformation to meet regulatory requirements while ensuring our customers are at the heart of everything we do.”
ACH Group – which supports more than 9,000 customers and employs 2,000 staff – is about to embark on a new strategy, said Ms Lynch. “Linda’s energy and expertise are exactly what we need going forward. She is steering our organisation in the right direction, increasing our capability and capacity to support good lives for older people.”
Responding to her appointment, Ms Feldt said: “Having the chance to lead ACH Group into our next phase of growth, with a focus on wellness, innovation and connected communities, is hugely exciting.
She added: “As ACG Group continues to adapt and evolve, I am very optimistic about the opportunities and possibilities to help older people live their best life.”
