Home care platform launches in Australia
Several Australian providers have already begun utilising the software.
A United Kingdom software company has expanded into Australia to work alongside providers to help streamline home care management.
CareLineLive provides home care service operators with an all-in-one cloud-based platform that supports rostering and care management, payroll and invoicing, compliance reporting, and electronic check-ups.
“Providing better care at home is essential in all parts of the globe,” said Josh Hough – CareLineLive founder and managing director. “Australia has specific challenges when it comes to home care, so improving efficiency and productivity, as well as increasing capacity and compliance, is vital.”
The software has three components: a management platform, a carer app, and the Care Circle portal – which provides family, friends, community health workers, and emergency workers with real-time access to client details.
Several Australian home care providers have already begun utilising the software, including home aged and disability care service Home Care Nurses Australia. “CareLineLive saves us time, is very cost-effective and enables constant communication between the managers, the carers, and also the families of the care recipient,” said Busi Faulkner, managing director of HCNA – which also provides staff agency services.
Launched in 2012, the company works with 600 home care providers in the UK – including the National Health Service – Ireland, Jersey, and now Australia, managing over 15,000 care workers. “The CareLineLive team is passionate about what we do,” said Mr Hough, “and we look forward to continuing our work across the country.”
