National aged care and retirement living provider Bolton Clarke Group has appointed legal professional Tony Crawford as its new chair.
Australia’s largest independent not-for-profit aged care provider, Bolton Clarke supports more than 130,000 people in their homes and at their 88 residential homes and 38 retirement villages nationally.
Mr Crawford joins the group with more than 30 years’ experience across a variety of sectors including not-for-profit, health, insurance, legal, sport and government.
His extensive legal career includes three decades at national law firm DLA Phillips Fox where roles included chief executive officer and chair.
Mr Crawford is currently chair of Queensland Country Health Fund, Heart Research Australia, the Energy and Water Ombudsman New South Wales, and NSW Rugby Union.
Mr Crawford’s appointment follows the retirement after 12 years of current chair Pat McIntosh who steps down from the position as part of a well-planned succession.
