Top gong for Feros Care
Not-for-profit provider has been recognised as the best Home Care Provider in NSW and the ACT.
Aged care provider Feros Care has been recognised as the best Home Care Provider in New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory.
The not-for-profit provider picked up the Reader’s Digest Australian Quality Service Awards for Home Care Services, receiving the highest accolade – the Gold Medal Award – for achieving a high standard of excellence in customer experience.
The annual awards are based on votes cast by more than 2,000 people, who rate five key categories:
- personalisation
- understanding
- simplicity
- satisfaction
- consistency.
Feros Care wellbeing manager Caroline Maclean accepted the award at a ceremony in Sydney in November.
“I have the privilege of leading a team of care workers dedicated to providing outstanding, consistent and personalised customer service,” said Ms Maclean.
Meanwhile, executive manager of community services Kim Attenborough said Feros Care valued client feedback and the provider – which also offers disability support services – was constantly evolving to meet the needs of Australia’s ageing population.
“We value open and honest feedback from clients, and review offerings and services via regular face-to-face and virtual panels,” she said.
Client feedback shapes everything Feros Care delivers, said Ms Attenborough “from the way we deliver financial statements to formulating entire teams in charge of conducting wellbeing and check-in calls for clients.”
She added: “We are honoured to receive an award that is reflective of community and client sentiment and recognises the outstanding efforts by our team to provide world-class customer service.”
