Benetas broadens CHSP footprint

Benetas has expanded its delivery of CHSP services throughout Gippsland and rural north-west Victoria.

Victorian aged care provider Benetas has expanded the delivery of its Commonwealth Home Support Program services throughout Gippsland and the rural north-west of the state.

From 1 July, Benetas began delivering home care services to older residents in the Latrobe, Baw Baw and Hepburn shires who are eligible to receive CHSP services.

“Our team at Benetas know it is a real privilege to be invited into someone’s home, and we never take this for granted,” said Benetas CEO Sandra Hills. “To partner with someone and support them so that they can live an independent life is extremely fulfilling.”

CHSP is an entry-level home support program that helps people live independently in their homes and communities. It also provides respite services to give carers a break.

The CHSP services now being delivered by Benetas were previously offered by the shire councils in the respective regions.

Benetas will be opening new offices in Dalyesford, Traralgon and Warragul so as to provide hubs for customers and bases for team members.

The expansion of its CHSP services delivery means Benetas is currently recruiting for a range of roles. “Key to our success is employing caring and passionate team members and recognising that what they do matters,” said Ms Hall. “They in turn provide quality services to our customers.”
