South Australian home care provider ECH (Enabling Confidence at Home) has welcomed Claire Scapinello as its new CE following the departure of David Panter earlier this year.
Ms Scapinello, who was most recently chief digital officer at RSL Life Care NSW, has more than 20 years experience in executive roles across aged care, retirement, retail and residential property with a focus on customer experience and engagement.
Her previous roles include head of brand and customer strategy at property group TOGA and national brand, customer and marketing manager at ASX listed diversified property group GPT Group.
Chair Rosina Hislop says Ms Scapinello is an ideal fit for the organisation, with a commitment to delivering the best possible client experience and a capacity to engage and empower the ECH team.
“Claire’s passion for listening, understanding, and responding to the needs and expectations of customers today, and in the future, will result in delivering the best possible client experience. With her warm and engaging style, she will continue to engage and empower our team,” Ms Hislop said in a statement.
Ms Scapinello returns to her birthplace in SA after living in NSW for 22 years.
“I am delighted to be joining ECH at such an exciting time and have the ability to build on the organisation’s existing capabilities in service delivery, excellence, innovation and empowering our clients and residents to live well and live long,” she said.
“It’s my belief that by creating strong relationships, developing, and nurturing teams and co-creation of great ideas you can deliver remarkable results.
“By building strong communities we will continue to foster concepts of promoting independence, wellbeing and living at home for longer.”
Dr Panter took up a position as CEO of South Australian disability provider Minda in January, after leading ECH for seven years.
