Home Care Today, a CDC support project, is hosting a free webinar next month for home care package providers on identifying the signs of elder abuse.
Home care providers are well placed to recognise and prevent elder abuse in the community and the issue will become increasingly important as more older people choose to age at home.
Consultant Kathy Day, an expert in elder abuse prevention, will present on the topic and share examples of good practice from Australia and overseas.
The webinar, ‘consumer directed care and elder abuse’, takes place on 2 May at 2:00pm-3:00pm EST.
