Community care providers are being encouraged to attend the forthcoming Active Ageing Conference 2016 to hear the latest evidence and practice in reablement and restorative care.

Community care providers are being encouraged to attend the forthcoming Active Ageing Conference 2016 to hear the latest evidence and practice in reablement and restorative care.

The program for the second edition of the conference, which is hosted by Community Care Review, has been released and features a full day of learning with expert presentations and thought-provoking panel discussions.

Three leading community care providers – Catholic Community Services, Alzheimer’s Queensland and Southern Cross Care – will share their experiences of embedding reablement and restorative care across their respective organisations.

Other sessions include:

  • Using co-production to develop and implement wellness and reablement programs
  • Reablement-based ‘show me’ assessment
  • Risk management in reablement and restorative care programs
