A new practical workshop on the implications of the February 2017 reforms on day-to-day operations has been designed for senior managers of home care organisations.
Trainer and consultant Lorraine Poulos will conduct the one-day seminar on preparing for a market-based environment and strategies for survival.
The workshop will cover:
- Understanding the legislative changes to the Aged Care Act for home care providers
- Preparing for February 2017 when funding will follow the consumer, packages are portable and unspent funds will no longer be retained by a provider
- Considerations around mergers and acquisitions.
Participants will also be given tools to evaluate the implementation of consumer directed care across their organisation.
The workshop will be held in Sydney on 7 April, 2016.
