The Queensland Government sponsored Community Care Smart Assistive Technology Collaborative is hosting a webinar tomorrow for community care providers who are considering making investments into technology to support service provision.

The session will be delivered by Gavin Tomlins, chair of the Aged Care Industry IT Company’s CIO forum, and will consider requirements and expectations from developers and software vendors, your buying or negotiating power, among other key issues.

The online forum aims to build on international work undertaken to identify key minimum requirements as well as drawing on forum participants’ experiences.

The collaborative was set up to provide a space for community care providers to collaborate, access resources and engage with local and international experts around the application  and mainstreaming of smart assitive technology.

The webinar takes place Friday, January 22 at 10am-11am AEST.
